Every stone is a Blender sculpt baked to a low-poly hull, and its collider is that same mesh, so nothing balances on geometry you cannot see. Every third stone the wind rises: a mass-scaled impulse on the whole stack, and the tall pillar you were proud of is the one that goes. Eight stones standing before three are lost.
A magpie is robbing a museum at night and the only thing that can catch her is light. The watchmen's lanterns are real shadow-casting Light2D cones, the cases and columns are LightOccluder2D, and the detection test raycasts that same geometry — so the shadow you can see is literally the hiding place. Sneak, pry five cases, carry each jewel home to the nest vent in your beak; the flutter-dash is fast and loud. Blender-rendered normal-mapped sprites, mocap-walked guards, faces that blink and go wide when they spot you.

Real-time DirectionalLight3D shadows over Blender-baked food props, felt fairways with piped-crust curbs on a gingham cloth, and the table edge is always one bad putt away.
The village cheese-roll, and you ARE the wheel: a real RigidBody2D barreling downhill with torque and a grounded hop — hay pyramids burst, fences splinter at speed, geese flap off honking, mocap villagers tumble in chase. Sunrise Light2D over normal-mapped meadows, physics camera with speed zoom, full juice pass.
Past midnight on Día de los Muertos, a little calavera runs the fiesta rooftops to her family's ofrenda. She's a real Skeleton2D cutout rig — nine Blender-rendered bones driven by CMU motion capture — who rattles apart when she falls and reassembles at the last candle. Coyote time, jump buffering, swinging piñatas, firework hazards, five parallax bands.
A drawn-on-paper prizefight: read the bruiser's windup, sway or duck, and counter in the opening — three knockdowns and the eraser finishes him. Procedural Line Art ink over mocap boxing, cel sprites with normal maps under a real desk-lamp Light2D, ink-splat particles and a full juice pass.
Dusk falls on a stone harbor village: carry your flame down the lanes and light all ten street lamps before night, while wind gusts hunt it. Every sprite is a Blender render with a matching normal map, so real Light2D pools roll across the cobbles — with occluder shadows, autotiled lanes, GPU particles and a normal-mapped water shader.

Scenes you can read
Godot scenes and scripts are plain text — an agent authors complete node trees, tilemaps, particles and GDScript the same way it writes code. No binary editor state, no black box: every piece’s source is inspectable line by line.
A piece that could ship on plain canvas is a failed concept here. Every piece visibly uses what only a real engine provides: tilemap autotiling, Skeleton2D cutout rigs, GPU particles, physics bodies — or the full 3D pipeline for stylized-3D pieces.

Why is Godot "the most AI-authorable real engine"?
Its scene format and scripting language are plain text with a clean structure — an agent can author complete games the way it writes code, and every change is reviewable. Engines with binary scene formats can’t offer that.

What should I inspect in a sprite-based example?
Look at the character during movement, turns and transitions, not only when idle. Consistency between animation, lighting and the surrounding world matters as much as the individual sprite.
