Quay Nets

Concept, Blender recreate and the live engine frame from one cycle. Fishing nets drying on a harbour rack: the AI concept (left), the code-modelled drying rack with square-sawn posts and rope lashings (centre), and the piece running in Unity — pick a net, shake the catch out, crate it before the gulls take it, while gusts re-tangle what you have already cleared. The stiff net in the row is Unity's Cloth component, which does not simulate in a code-built WebGL build; leaving it hanging beside the hand-driven nets shows the result instead of stating it.

Provenance

Contributed by the Unity Lab

This asset was built for Quay Nets, a Unity Lab piece. It was modeled entirely in code (Blender’s Python API) by an AI agent, rendered by headless Blender, and audited against its concept before export — the pipeline every Blender Studio asset goes through.
